STYLING

Utility clothing is usually not a top seller, it’s not interesting for a lot of shoppers so I chose the most interesting pieces I could find for the utility theme.

There are bulbous elements to the clothing chosen for Wisdom. This is to offset the lines of the warehouse.

Minimal styling

Short hair, buzz cut, not much styling needed.

ACCESSORIES

Minimal jewelry, gold to follow the warm colors/tones of the clothing styling

Fall/Winter shoot - beanie look, not bright, black or neutral

A lot of texture with jewelry as well; round, angular, etc.

MODEL/POSING

I would like Wisdom Kaye to pose with the small mirror. I would like him to be surrounded by minimal furniture, his clothing and posing are sufficient for being the center of attention for the shoot.

Minimal posing - would like to have action shots but want his body to be straight on to the camera and look very linear

At the edge of the room with a lot of negative space in the warehouse - overhead bulbous light

SET/PHOTOGRAPHY

Utility screams warehouse and practicality, this inspired the chosen set, a warehouse where there is minimal lighting but a lot of angles and lines.

Want to do minimal staging because the main focus is the model and their utility clothing.

A lot of negative space

No additional setup to the warehouse

A lot of lighting because warehouses are underground, dark, etc.

Twilight lighting, minimal lighting, almost romantic lighting, sci-fi lighting

Bringing the through line of bulbous shapes against the sharp lines of the ceiling, I’ve chosen props with round shapes.

Minimal, either sleek to match the set or bulbous to match the clothes
