fashion in 2030

Where is fashion heading in 2030?

Seasonless pieces to support sustainability that can be worn in summer/winter months. Designed for the people who aren't 100% ready for a 'futuristic' style aesthetic. Encourage buying higher quality clothes and buying less often. Editorial layout will have QR codes for customers to scan with their phones, or some sort of link that a customer can click if they are looking at the content online. Clothes can be registered with a Digital ID. Designer clothing is sold virtually and editorial shoots are accessible online as well.

Styling

Non-trends; classic, 'clean' looks that don't necessarily fit an aesthetic but are always chic. A neutral color palette that will allow the customer to wear clothes repeatedly. Clothes in 2030 will be made from environmentally friendly fabrics like organic cotton that easily biodegrade. Blending luxury with streetstyle and a bit more casual dress. Clothing can be dressed up or dressed down easily because there is an emphasis on a neutral color palette.

Photographer

Paola Kudacki's portfolio shows that she can capture interesting images for FaceTime photoshoots (screenshots). She can feature clothes editorially in simple spaces and experiments with props that can also be found at home. Love the imperfection seen in FaceTime photoshoots.

Simple, ‘at home’ sets. Plain white backgrounds in bedrooms, or home offices. Spaces that can be accessible or easily replicated.
