I have always loved the beauty that can be found in simplicity. I am a big believer that to make something simple and beautiful is the ultimate challenge. It is difficult to draw a perfect line, to make the perfect garment, to get the perfect shot, which is why I gravitate towards images and objects that aren't overly manufactured or manicured but simply perfect.

The lighting and positioning of Gigi is inspiring to me because she is just as calm and serene as the background and set. I can’t point a specific aesthetic to this style - it could be boho, or urban, or country.

The Loewe dress has a simple silhouette with minimal accessorizing yet the proportions and geometry are stunning. The back of the dress beautifully balances the front and uses negative space in a way that captivates the eye.

I am inspired by the color and shapes in Ashley Hicks’ sculptures Contrasting shapes and contrasting color can have a balancing effect even if they are dramatically different.

The aesthetic of urban cowboy is one of my favorites. the golden hour lighting is perfectly soft and romantic. the cowboys look glam but juxtaposed against a vintage car at an old pharmacy, they also look comfortable and more ordinary.

Nature is the best designer and hydrangeas are my favorite flower. Whenever I have them around I’m reminded of how remarkable nature is.

Lastly, I’m greatly inspired by music, specifically by lyrics that are relatable and simple. The chords and opening line of “Come Back to Earth” by Mac Miller paint a picture, which I gravitate towards because I love storytelling.
